At 29 years of age, Victor Meireles is the co-founder and CEO of Nampur. Familiar with every corner, river, restaurant, beach, and view of the Costa do Descobrimento (Discovery Coast), in the south of Bahia, he always had one desire: to offer other people access to experiences, sensations, and unique properties. Victor has always had an affectionate relationship with the place he has frequented since he was young and has developed ties with the local community. The result? A relationship of extreme inspiration, intimacy, passion, and above all respect, which are among the pillars of Nampur.
Using his business acumen, together with a strategic vision, he transformed the first family buildings into a business. In 2016, a decade after his family built their first house, meetings with friends—that would become partners—began strengthening the idea of creating true oases in Arraial d'Ajuda and Trancoso, some of the most exclusive locations and with breathtaking landscapes. He prides himself on providing a unique lifestyle expressed with different meanings for each of his clients.
What stands out about Meireles' personality is he is more of a doer than just someone with ideas. "Dreaming is doing, that’s my greatest legacy," he affirms. Besides bringing real-estate projects to life, he is also concerned about preserving not only nature, but the local culture and community, since urban development cannot be stopped. In the last five years, the company has been expanding its activities as the only developer in the south of Bahia specialized in high-end villas and residences, bringing sophisticated beach house projects to life. And he has been repaying this trust with social actions in support of the local community, coordinated by an area named "Nampur Social."
Guided by this respect for traditions, true private sanctuaries are created, which provide time to escape from stress and strengthen the idea of creating unforgettable moments alongside those you love. There, the sound of the ocean and the sea breeze are his business card, based on the values of his own story.
Personal life
A Business Administration graduate from FAAP (Fundação Armando Alvares Penteado), Meireles has worked in the technology and entertainment sectors, as well as a venture into the financial market. His last investment, prior to completely dedicating himself to Nampur, was a mutual fund dedicated to investments in B2B tech startups. A helicopter pilot since 2016, he likes playing golf and mountain biking at his home in the south of Bahia. Married to the publicist Gabriela Carioba for approximately three years, she is the one who runs the actions of Nampur Social, a hub of local support initiatives that reinforces respect for the community and his vision of the world.
