Surrounded by complete calm and privacy, the villas of “A MATA" have their own air of mystery. The 40,000 square meter area is one of the most exclusive in the village of Trancoso, close to the main pousadas (guest houses) and restaurants, on the region's most charming beach. With design by architect Guilherme Torres and landscaping by Alex Hanazaki, the property boasts a vast preservation area of native vegetation, where the villas harmonize with the landscape and capture incredible views of the surroundings. From here, it is possible to feel the scent of the Atlantic forest, hear the hundreds of species of birds and contemplate the mixture of colors of the Bahian sky and sea.

As not all jewels are identical, experience the difficulty of choosing between the forest and the ocean view, but whichever you choose, the sound of the waves crashing on the beach invades the dreams of a perfect night.
Nationally known for being the birthplace of great carpenters and craftspeople, we made the most of the region's atmosphere by developing every inch using just two materials: burnished concrete and wood, where these elements dissolve into the middle of the landscape.
